The CoP 5.0 was officially launched on 16 November 2023. The initial phase of CoP 5.0 is scheduled to take place from November 2023 to May 2024. During this period, the community will be of two working groups:
A first Plenary Session will be held in Brussels in October 2024.
Q4BS application as Switzerland member for this Community of Practice was accepted, the EC Industry 5.0 initiative was lauched to rise the vision of Industry 5.0 in the Life Science industry.

The EC Industry 5.0 Community of Practice is an initiative led by the European Commission aimed at fostering a human-centric, sustainable, and resilient industrial transformation across Europe. Building on the foundations of Industry 4.0, which emphasizes digitalization and automation, Industry 5.0 seeks to integrate these advancements with a renewed focus on human well-being, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
Industry 5.0 envisions a future where humans and advanced technologies work in harmony, emphasizing the role of human creativity, critical thinking, and social values in the industrial processes. The Community of Practice serves as a collaborative platform where industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators can share best practices, co-create solutions, and drive the adoption of Industry 5.0 principles across sectors.
